Since 1974, Attorney Steve Tober has been helping clients resolve complex family disputes, disagreements within the business world, and the impact of personal loss or harm from the conduct of others.
From the very beginning, the governing principle at Tober Law Offices has been one of steadfast commitment and service to our clients, and to the profession as well. Tober was the first to ever serve as both president of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and president of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association. He has participated in a wide array of professional settings, including leadership in both the American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. In the 1980s he served as chair of a special state bar committee that brought the updated Rules of Professional Conduct to New Hampshire. In August 2008 he began a three-year term on the American Bar Association's Board of Governors.
Previously, Tober chaired the 2005-2006 American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary, which evaluates all Presidential nominees to the Federal bench, and as chair he testified before the US Senate Judiciary Committee on the nominations of Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr.
